Overview
Nothing is as striking as walking into a convention center and seeing a full aircraft shimmering in the low light. Though we had touched upon flight with Lockheed Martin projects in the past, working with Swiss Aircraft manufacturer Pilatus offered an approach focused on the airplanes themselves.
Challenge
Designing an exhibit to have a full-sized aircraft as it’s center piece was surely a challenge. Being the companies best selling aircraft, we wanted to allow visitors to experience what Pilatus truly had to offer, as opposed to merely reading about it on a pamphlet.
Solution
We created a curved structure hoisting a 20-foot tall tower to serve as a functional backdrop to the PC-12 NG aircraft. With a bright red color and strategic light accents, the sleek and shiny aircraft welcomed guests to one of the lounging areas resting just below the wings.
Impact
We made sure that if the full sized aircraft wasn’t enough to impress business partners to have a chat, a KTM 950 SMR Supermoto housed inside of the plane would surely seal the deal. Pilatus, like it’s aircraft on the showfloor, was more present than ever before at NBAA.
