Overview
CES 2017 marked the show’s 50th anniversary, and with nearly 200,000 attendees and over 4,000 exhibiting companies, it remains one of the most competitive show floors in the world. IGE was brought in to help Dish and Sling make their mark, designing a shared exhibit that showcased the strength of their partnership in home entertainment and telecommunications.
Challenge
A dual-branded exhibit at the world’s biggest consumer electronics show is a balancing act. Both brands needed room to shine independently, while the space as a whole had to feel like a genuine collaboration, not two booths forced together. Having worked with Dish on numerous projects in the past, we were ready for the creative challenge of bringing Sling into the fold.
Solution
IGE designed a cohesive environment that gave each brand its own identity without breaking the visual unity of the space. Eight-foot-tall logos on hanging mesh fabric made both brands visible from across the showroom floor, while a towering canopy of fabric and custom acrylic panels created a natural separation between the two without closing off the floor plan. The result was a space that held its own at the biggest show of the year, and made sure Dish and Sling were impossible to miss.
