Overview
One of IGE’s first forays into the medical trade show space and a project that set the tone for how we approach the industry. Designed for Covidien at AARC 2011, the exhibit was handled end to end: design, fabrication, installation, dismantling, and all custom elements managed in-house.
Challenge
Medical products don’t always lend themselves to compelling visual experiences. Our goal was to change that by creating a space that was as attractive as it was informative, balancing the weight of clinical messaging with a design that actually drew people in. Facts and figures had to coexist with an environment worth stopping for.
Challenge
A strong, modern structure anchored the exhibit, with multiple messaging and product displays accented throughout by LED lighting in Covidien’s signature blue. Two 16-foot towers gave the space a commanding presence, while a modular design allowed for four different possible configurations. Once inside, visitors were guided naturally toward multi-touch workstations or the dedicated Genius Presentation Area where the detail and depth of Covidien’s offering could really land.
